Social Studies Blog 1

In social studies, we are learning about Human Rights. we had to make 2 different activities either write a list of 5 human rights in what we think should be first and what should be fifth or do a canva poster. we sat for a bit discussing what we thought should be first. in my group of 4 was Sam, Brianna and Connor. we all, in the end, decided that we had all our rules written down. Here are our rules

1. No one can take our rights away

2. We are all born free & equal

3. The right to life

4. The right to education

5.the right to food and shelter

rule one. was correct because Sam said everyone deserves to have rights.

rule number 2. was decided by me because everyone should be free and equal.

rule 3. was the right to life(live). We all have the right to life, and to live in freedom and safety.

rule 4. the right to education basically meaning you have the right to learn and be educated.

rule 5. the right to food and shelter I realized everyone should have a place to live and should have some food.

Thats where we think the rules should be but thats not where they are on the list of human rights. here is where we found our Human Rights.here are the first 5 rules.

1. We Are All Born Free & Equal. We are all born free. We all have our own thoughts and ideas. We should all be treated in the same way.

2. Don’t Discriminate. These rights belong to everybody, whatever our differences.

3. The Right to Life. We all have the right to life, and to live in freedom and safety.

4. No Slavery. Nobody has any right to make us a slave. We cannot make anyone our slave.

5. No Torture. Nobody has any right to hurt us or to torture us.
