Tech research

in tech, we have been doing a little bit of research. in this research, we have had to look at what will be added in 20 years? what will stay the same? what will be taken out by and not used? and what will be taken over by robots?. I decided to make a presentation with Isaac and Jireh. I had fun researching all of this about the jobs.

what am I learning?
about jobs that could be taken over robots, jobs that could be taken out or jobs that will stay the same.

how does this show my learning?
it shows my learning in a presentation. the website we used was Google Slides.

what am I wondering
I am wondering how accurate this research is like will robots take over 2030.

Shes Amazing At Acting

So in drama, I and Sam decided to practise sams script. For Sams passion project she is doing Bugsy Malone, while me, on the other hand, I am doing wearable arts. Sam asked me to help her with her lines and I was Tallulah's, Bugsy's, and Fat Sam. we first went over the lines and then we decided to get up and act it. I loved it well I am not the acting type of person but like I did so well acting it out, I wouldn't really do it again but I tried my hardest. I could have had more enthusiasm, but it was my first time acting out and acting like a guy.  Sam is so good at acting as blousy, Well shes amazing at acting anyway. sam has been acting since she was younger so I can see why.

As you can see I was so into the script, but I'm not exactly the reading type. I am bad at reading so I don't think I could read a script again (i still hate this photo).

Tech End Of Subject Result

Balancing Toy

In tech, we had to make a balancing toy it was really hard at the time but I got threw. in the end, I did not finish because my work got stolen.

What did I enjoy?
I enjoyed draw filing and sawing

I learnt how to draw file

what was a challenge?
losing my work and using a drill (i am scared of machines)

how did you overcome that challenge?
I just started again even when I want to give up. and with the drill, I got someone else to do it (which wasn't the right choice)

Did I weld?
no, I didn't

what did I get better at?
I got better at being patient.

As I said above I didn't finish and this is all I had in the end. if I had more time I would have completed it. I think I need to stop talking.  I Really think I could have done better and I should have but I didn't so I didn't finish, that's my fault. But  in the end I had fun and that's all that matters

Dragon Heart part 4

this is the vennage that I did. This vennage show most of the scenes in the movie study dragon heart.

what am I learning?
I learnt how to make a timeline properly because I was didn't know how to make one properly.

How does this work show my learning?
it shows a vennage of a timeline in the movie Dragonheart.

What am I wondering as a result of this learning?
i am wondering if i should have added a photo of the movie or anything like that.

In film study the first week we had to do what visual and sound were used. we had multiple options and they created our own dictionary, create a kahoot, a pick a path, create a crossword. the one I did was the kahoot because it looks really fun.

Dragon heart film study video

this is the video that we made. We had to take photos of some different shots. the different shots are close-up, medium close-up, medium shot, mid shot, long (wide) shot, extreme long-shot, low angle, high angle, eye level, pan, tilt, tracking, overhead, over the shoulder, mise en scene. Turn on the music to listen to Hallelujah by pentatonix. 

filtration- seperating mixures

aim-to separate a solution from a predicate.

equipment

• lead nitrate 
• potassium iodide 
• conical flask 
• stirring rod 
• 250ml beaker 
• funnel 
• filter paper 

method:
1. pour Approximately 10 ml of the potassium iodite solution into the beaker
2. add the same volume of the lead || nitrate.
3.your teacher will show you  how to fold the  filter paper so it fits inside your funnel.
4. place the funnel, with the filter paper inside it, into the mouth of a conical flask.
5.stir, then carefully pour the precipitate mixture into the funnel.

observations : when i was watching the chemicals go together it turned into a yellow colour. then when we filtered it (got rid of all the liquid)  stuck to the filter paper was a yellow pastey resadue . when I felt it (i wasn't suppose to but I did) it felt like cornstarch a bit. the cornstarch resadue was rude

In tech, we have been making signs for the workshop. This was one of our first assignments. My sign is saying no long hair out while in the workshop because it could get stuck in a tool or even worse.  This is the first one I made. Mr. Rees (my teacher) said that I should make it into a mandatory sign. this mandatory sign means tie your hair back.  

These are the signs and there meaning. These signs are all around the world and if u listen to them they will save your life. signs are all around work sites too.
