Definition- a hazard is something that can hurt you or may cause death. if you don't listen to these signs you could get seriously hurt. there are a lot of hazards in the workshop example, using the saw.

Where can you find these risks

• At a construction site 
• at the hospital
• at home  
• at airports

Definition- this means that you have to have that certain thing/ object.   if you don't listen to these signs you could get kicked off site or even worst get fired by your boss. In the school workshop, you need hard shoes.
What could you need

• Hard hat
• steel caps
• safety glasses (sometimes work provides these)
• Gloves
• hi-vis vest/jacket
