Children of blood and bone essay

Do you think everyone should get treated equally?
I asked that question because In the book children of blood and bone by Tomi Adeyemi, some character get treated right and some get treated wrong, there are also multiple pov * points of views* to show how the people get treated. some memorable ideas are learned through the relationships between Amari and Zelie meet when Zelie and inan meet, and when tzain and Amari meet.

the first memorable idea is when Amari and Zelie met because  Amari was a princess and Zelie was someone who didn't like the royal family.  Amari and Zelie met in the little alley they did know each other. Zelie had her suspicions about Amari. when Zelie found out Amari was the princess (next queen of orisha) she was furious.  after the start, Zelie started to get used to Amari's company. Amari started to think that Zelie and she were friends but Zelie wouldn't agree. she said to tzain (pronounced Zane)
“Well, even if I did, I can’t. Her father ordered the Raid. Her brother burned down our village. What makes you think she’s any different?”.

the second memorable idea is when tzain and Amari meet because from the start the writer made it look like he liked Amari because he gave Amari his jacket, etc *they liked each other*. *, in my opinion,* I think tzain and Amari would be an adorable couple. at points in the story, they got very close and at others, they were just stuck alone waiting for help. they had a good relationship that wasn't really talked about much. quote from the website "During their journey the two have formed a close romantic relationship with each other".  Amari and the trains relationship were not talked about much because they were mostly running from inan.

the third memorable *not really I just want to state* is when tzain and inan meet because they didn't have a good relationship. inan at the start was not the best. they author stated that Amari and inan had a good relationship but when Amari runs away tzain gets told to get her and kill everyone who with her. when tzain found out about inan he heard storeys and see Amaris back where the scar was.  personally, I don't think tzain like what happened because he liked Amari so much that they explained it a lot.

the fourth idea is when inan and Zelie meet because it shows when in real life how fake people use you basically.  inan was the character who uses Zelie because he wanted to make his dad happy.  Zelie and inan did have a type of love that wasn't the best for both of them. tzain knew that Zelie was gonna get hurt and warned her and she did not listen to him. Zelie took her anger out on tzain even tho he was right all along.

Now we have looked at these points I personally think that I have finished the book I have learnt a lot from what has happened in the book. I learnt the most from Zelie and Inans relationship because she realizes that he is fake and that she needed to say bye to him.

  1. This is an interesting read so far. I'm looking forward to seeing it complete. You're doing well at explaining your ideas.
I see that you are still looking for a quote to use. If you go to the "Everyone is an individual" section of the 'Ideas/Themes' document, you can find several scenes to write about, including the one you are looking for, from Chapter 13.

  2. Fantastic work, Chyna! It's great that you've thought about the different relationships between the characters.
Your writing is structured into paragraphs and you have some quotes to support yourself.
The next step would be providing some LINKS. In your fourth paragraph you talk about how Inan is trying to impress his father. Could you link that to the real world / another story?
