Safety signs

In tech, we have been making signs for the workshop. This was one of our first assignments. My sign is saying no long hair out while in the workshop because it could get stuck in a tool or even worse.  This is the first one I made. Mr. Rees (my teacher) said that I should make it into a mandatory sign. this mandatory sign means tie your hair back.  

These are the signs and there meaning. These signs are all around the world and if u listen to them they will save your life. signs are all around work sites too.

a beaker is for measuring  liquids

conical flask
for mixing liquids/ chemicals

measuring cylinder
for measuring cylinder

test tube rack
for putting chemicals in and mixing them

tripod
a tripod is to put things over the bunsen burner 


funnel
a funnel is to put liquids in a conical flask without spilling anything

spatula
is used for stirring

thermometer
a thermometer is used for checking the temperature

test tube
a test tube is used for putting liquids in

test tube tongs
are used to hold test tubes over a bunsen burner
